    Bagging Tough Oats

With the deteriorating forecast waiting for dry oats may not be an option. What is your experience with bagging tough oats to be dried. What would be a safe moisture level that would allow them to keep for a few months in a bag?

I've done barley at close to 20%. Bagged October, dried March. Turned out okay.

Anything under 16 your good. Anything over asking for trouble imo. I found anything over 16 you want to back off brake pressure. I run max in dryer stuff (adding lbs) wetter oats don't like to come out as easy. Fwiw just my experience
