Non binding tons plus non binding Investment dollars may translate Into someone else snapping up cwb. It should not be sold.

The only way that can happen Hopper is to change the gov't.
Harper and Ritz said it had to be sold in 5 yrs.
They don't want farmers owning anything.

Always seem to get back to the idea that if only farmers owned and ran things, everything would be peachy.
I say it is just a dream.

It's getting sold and those white elephant elevators that they are building along with it.

For pennies as well. Senior management will leave with healthy severance packages. Has anyone heard whatever happened to Deanna Allen?

I honestly don't know how they consider 1 lane state of the art. But they can load 60000 bu an hour into a railcar. Once again kissing the railways ass.

Much like agslow in moose jaw that was built for horse and buggy, no one gives a shit about the farmer or the commercial driver. No one likes lineups or sitting at the probe when the lane is empty.

Would seem to be a decision for government and appointed directors.
MPs and govt people still looking for a solution that can be accepted by those who want to keep CWB around in some form.
May be more important than saving money or efficiency.
Own thought is support for board is gradually diminishing among growers, younger ones in particular.

Had the cwb just listened 15 years ago to then young farmers they would be farther ahead for support.

The cwb should be offerred to farmers bit won't be.

They should have cleaned house top down. The management still isn't listening to those older then young farmers.

I hope the CWB Colonsay terminal will offer some competition. It sounds like they will be taking wheat this upcoming June.
