Early Commitment Program participants have the opportunity to apply for a Production Advanceâ„¢ of $80 per tonne (ex- GST) which, if approved, gives you valuable cash flow ahead of harvest when cash reserves are traditionally low. You can also apply at any time up until November.

Production Advance Benefits:
Cash Flow: Provides you access to a cash advance in respect of grain you are committed to deliver to the AWB Managed Program at harvest.
Simplicity: Flat fee of $2.75 per m/t for applications in September 2014 and no application fees apply.
Product Support: Through our national network of farm marketers and the AWB grower service centre to assist you at every stage of the Production Advanceâ„¢ program.

How to Access the Program
• You contract grain into an AWB commitment tonnage contract.
• You complete a ‘Production Advance™ Application’. Click on image to download form. Eligibility criteria apply.

The information you provide is then subject to a review. If you are successful you will be issued with a letter of offer which will specify the Production Advanceâ„¢ rate, the amount applicable to each of your commitment tonnage contracts and the terms and conditions of the offer.

What else you need to know
• You must have entered into a pre-harvest Commitment tonnage contract with AWB for a minimum of 100mt.
• Your total pre-harvest wheat commitments should represent 50% or less of your forecast production for the 2014/15 season.
• The Production Advance™ payment is to be applied by you wholly or predominantly for the purposes of enabling you to produce the grain, the subject of your Season Starter™ Pool contracts.
• You must meet certain financial eligibility requirements which we determine at our discretion from time to time.
• AWB reserves the right to consider any information it considers relevant to the application and, may in its absolute discretion approve or reject a Production Advance™ application and determine the amount per tonne of the Production Advance™ amount to be offered to a successful applicant.
• AWB reserves the right to close the applications at anytime.
