Froze good here last night, low of minus 2,below freezing from midnight and still 0 now. Any canola that hasn't been cut for awhile and green oats gonna be toast.

Minus 4 here very hard frost thick. Most sask got it hard from what it looks like.

Better question is how far south is this going?

Put it well into Nebraska and we might come out of this better than we expected.

MInus 2 all night in east central sask, garden hose frozen solid. The canola can be cut now for sure. Lots of crops still grass green in this area.

Frost on grass at 10pm, froze all nite, very white at 6am. Game over for green plants. South wind and 4.7 already.

Was -2 here when I went to bed at 11. -5 when I looked at 4 am. Still -5 at 6:30. Crops still in the field were pretty mature but this must have done some damage. Located north east of Medicine Hat a ways.
