    Just thinking...

    If I were paying for advertising on this site I wouldn't be impressed. Can't this slow page opening(or not at all) issue be fixed?

          I have family who administers a site that receives up to and over 5 million hits a day. It takes 43 full-time programmers, so its not easy.

                      I used to run a hosting company... 27 servers 800 customers.


                      I agree not a small feat. However this one is a software issue with an update to PERL.

                          As this site becomes busier, servers need constant expansions. Let's bare with it, cause it is a great site. Hope too, that it speeds up. Is it bear or bare?

                              It's the same 25 or so mentally unstable users that are causing all this extra traffic ?? Of course I include myself in the top 25.. Seriously tho probly the poorest of all forum sites I've ever visited
