Why? Do people have a problem with an early frost?

    Just to stir the pot.

But it can't freeze now. It's not a full moon.

In 1992 it was minus 3 on the 24th and minus 4 on the 25th! (Camrose Killam)

No problem, global warming will kick in. Let's all leave our vehicles idling overnight.

Tom your crops are far enough along and will make it? All the guys in the East and Manitoba that were flooded are two weeks late. It was worse but the two weeks prior with high temps helped push the crop along. One more week of record temps would have been just fine.
                Ah farming.

Tom sold his crop for number1 milling in 92 and 93 by having it blended off with Saskatchewan grain - he will have no problem.

I say too wet to freeze. Minus 3, dry frost, Aug 20, 2004. Started cold, wet spring, finished frozen wet shitty grades. Swathing started Aug 31, damp combined on Sept 22, drier after Sept 25, Oct combining. How about 2009, NO harvest for first 20 days of Oct, 70% of canola was in swath till Nov. But weather was great that month?
Wet cold harvests yuk, hope it's NOT repeating in 2014, enjoy!
