Sclerotina showing up here big time !!!

Certain fields are showing worse than 2011 .. I sent some pics to Klause
So far in our plots not sprayed, Sclero is 10-15% in Sclero resistant varieties and 50-60% in regular Hi breds. 30-40% fields starting to premature lodge bad and prematurs plants showing up big time.
Regular canola sprayed with fungicide still showing 10-20% - I sent a pic as well of canola sprayed with proline to Klause - a lot of damsge done IMO

I'm jealous that u have lodging canola. I can see the ground in most places on mine. The thicker spots are showing some disease so that tells me that chemical ain't worth a shit.

We were one of the oddballs that had a helicopter spray our canola with proline. Every test strip and field that we did not think worthy of spraying has it bad. A lot of people thought we were nuts spraying but the shrooms were there thick and even worse in the neighboring wheat fields. We went through it bad before and did not spray, very happy we did this year.

Also used pro line and not seeing any sclerotinia to date, might be a different story when I check some more. Do see trace amounts of blackleg and dying plants.
Wheat has considerable fusarium even though sprayed with prosario.
            Much more optimistic about canola.

Went for a tour yesterday - this will be the most widespread breakout ever in this area. I seen one Invigour 252 field that had plants with 3 to 4 full lesions up the stem and any pod/stem from neighboring plant leaning on it was getting infected bad as well. Sclero set in early and that brief dry spell did not slow it down. Sadly it rained again here last night and is sopping wet fog now.
50% or more of the fields here are showing significant signs, some later fields will be flat in a week. Some canola crops will have to be straight cut with lifters IMO.
We are doing official counts today in our plots not sprayed.

What would your guess on yield losses be?
