Top that off with needed a differential cover for that same tractor its built in 1988. Cannot get that part any more ****ing weld i did. Granted its 25 years old should still be a gold mine in parts sales cause lots of them tractors still running. Very good loader tractor.

A wrecker I would recommend is the wrecker at Preeceville.
They stay open late for you and are very accommodating.......

A buddy drove for something on his NH swather last fall down to SD. Only place that had the part. Ah his canola was turning fast. It wasn't a old swather.

Must be a Versatile thing. I believe they are only required to continue making parts for 10 years after manufacture date. Had trouble with the hydro on a 4750 swather eventually just sold it for parts.

Not picking on Gratton coulee, but.
                Service is great selection good.
On combine parts. Takeoff parts are 80% of new list. Some reman, less at the dealer. Shop around.

We had a similar issue with an NH 9882 this spring. Needed a new hydraulic pump. NH says not available anymore. Of course, it a Versatile really, and the pump was in Wpg, at the factory, would only ship to Versatile dealer, 4 day wait. They said farmers can't pickup at factory.

End result was,the salesman we bought from was a hard hitting Mennonite who phoned Versatile and tore them a new one. We picked up the part 2 hours later. But, I wonder about NH for any fixture parts issues. Hmm?
