Grain Commission for a per tonne deduction on
producer deliveries to licensed facilities. It would
support grain quality and safety assurance
provided by the commission.
Expect discussion on whether farmers, customers
or governments pay for this assurance.
Also expect discussion on "Brand Canada" as it
provides marketing advantage to our growers. It
may also provide advantage to other value chain
members.
There is the question of how far governments go
in paying for this and if they do not agree to,then
is there value to other value chain members and
do we try to work together.
