I'm surprised a Liberal (sort of) is the first to pay
tribute to Mr. Flaherty. He was a "progressive" who
placed ideology behind doing the right thing and
earned the respect of so many from all parts of the
world. Sadly, you could see this coming - he looked
like hell for quite some time now. Most of all, Jim was
a very intelligent man.
