Basis is Insane in Saskatchewan WHY is it still!

Phone any elevator and check basis levels on all crops. They tell you their going up every day. Book your Time slot for delivery and sign up to our marketing reps (8.00 an acre) to do puts and calls in case the market goes up or down your protected. Trust us this grain wont all be moved till maybe early next spring.
So book delivery and sign at unrealistic basis levels. This is simply a way to keep prices we receive down for the next twelve months.
Locking in prices at todays levels also is starting to not make any sense. Elnino like Klause is saying and drought in west in USA and problems all over and prices are through the roof. But if your locked in because their tricking you to book delivery is BS.
Basically Im going to go out on a limb and bet this is how it will play out.
Railways will ramp up shipping once we get to middle of april. (oh yea ritz time to get things going starts then) Farmers will head to the fields since its spring. With in first week of May elevators will start to phone and ask farmers where the hell is your grain we need grain. No basis is still stupid but we need your grain. Railways will then do media every day stating that the Dumb farmers didn't deliver when we ramped up the cars so why pay fines.
We look like we did nothing they win again.
Its simple most farmers will be down to just a little more than usual by summer. The carry over wont be as big but that wont come out till Dec.
Maybe just maybe the perfect storm is coming and the Grain companies know that.
So Boys you have to sign up for delivery, Pay for our Marketing service and price today.
RAH RAH RAH were winners oh sorry I meant you farmers win.
