Anyone know the legality of this?

Since were taking the royal hosing on our canola planting seed and no one will sell us seed treatment. What is stopping us from putting up 20 dollars per acre and producing it ourselves for ourselves. Certainly we should be able to purchase our own homemade seedtreatments. Even if we cannot make he newest stuff the lowering of the old stuff could drop the latest patent protected stuff down by what is the cost of the treatment part anyways is it 5 bucks. Plus we could use our old seed reducing the cost even more. Another job for FNA possibly?
