Someone posted pics of land being cleared and then ripped up with some kind of tiller, from (i think) northern Alberta, last winter/spring. Did the land ever get planted? What did they grow and how did it turn out? Any pics of the crop?

That was me. We had an extremely dry year but
1 guy I know got 30 bpa canola with no
fertilizer......he's 17 years old. I was actually very
surprised how well the new land crops
looked....even with the drought. Land that only
had native grass and willow actually yielded
    around 30 bpa.

I texted the guy growing the barley on the
    rototilled land let u know.

Just heard back, he said its still maturing and will
be combining it ....think the plan was originally
      silage or greenfeed bales.

I will try and get out and take pics and post.

Can someone post again how to do the
      photobucket thing. Tks

thanks for answering, be'n wondering all year how it was going to turn out. Hope there's enough stuble from that canola crop, to keep that land put. I might be kind of nervous even after planting next spring. Sure hate to see the wind damage it.
