    Foreign Ownership

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/story/2012/09/20/csis-foreign-takeover-dangers-nexen.html

Trying to remember the details....but did Canada also sign a deal with a Chinese Communications company, (the same company was rejected doing business in the US)? Certainly starting to raise flags....

Just heard on the radio that a very recent CSIS report states the danger of selling resources to belligerent nations, and how now they are infiltrating Canada and beginning to take control of our resources and gaining influence from within.

I think the Chinese Communication company, is being considered for an actual government contract to upgrade Canadian gov. computers?
Apparently this company is a registered Canadian subsiduary of the parent Chinese company that was rejected in the US.

perfecho, What do you think western farmers have been doing for the last hundred odd years? They have been exporting NPKS and all of the micros, in the forms of Wheat, Beef and Barley. There have been a whole lot of good ol' prairie nutrients flushed through the London and Shanghai sewer systems over the years.

Farmers are in the business of exporting nutrients off of their land. That's what they do.

Don't need the money or jobs!!! Speak for yourself. I
prefer to have a job. Where do you think the money
comes from to maintain our health care system,
roads and such? SantaClaus? Or are you one of the
                    47% that Romney talked about?

We need trade in order to survive. Even the most
hard core back-to-the-landers go to town every
                    now and then.
