Has anyone used Contain for the pre application of sclerotinia control? It is a product brought out a few years back that never realy took off. Just woundering if anyone tried it and how effective it is ? It should be applied in fall.

Haven't used it personally but it is a
pain in the A. It comes in a giant
cooler and has to bet kept cool. The
trials did look ok though.

Sorry that should be Contans. Those trials put on in the fall? There are going to be millions of sclerotia bodies around this fall.

How much an acre does this cost? Is it readily available? I suppose a verticle tillage tool would be good to incorporate it with.

Contans WG fer Certaintinia. Around $20 - $40 an acre dependin on Rate, Plus Application Cost. VT will not Work, Does it Work fer Anything???? HAHAHAHA. Needs to be sprayed on after Seeding, AND not touched after that. Once touched will need to redo because now you have brought untreated soil to the Top. Another thing, Neighbour don't use it, Will have spores blow in from His/Her Fields, AND Infect Yer Crop............
