Thursday crop report! 3 inches this week were going fishing!

Ok this week has not been nice three inches of
rain in two storms, crop needs heat.
Canola, aster yellow is causing huge problems for
early canola. One friend at Indianhead has a field
that he thinks if lucky will go 15, it's a stand for 60
    from road no pods.
So early canola slips to 6 and still hopping later
will make up diff but it's a 7. No bugs yet.
Durum stays same but rain taking toll. Lodging all
over from rain, Prosario sprayed for fusarium.
Hrs some still doing odd field of midge, yea it's
late and flowered but their out their going strong.
Heavy fields some are totally flat from rain and
wind. One field by edgeley is starting to turn.
    Seeded last day April.
Barley moving up early is starting to turn late is
    green.
Oats heading, disease going on some.
Peas wind and rain nicked the crap out of peas,
they will be shutting down when heat hits.
I can here combines starting in the distance.
So to sum up the week, wet cloudy two sunny
days, not a good growing week. Mud is the word
after the rain, floaters might have to be left on to
    desiccate.

Durum has white heads showing up all over the
area, doesn't matter if foundation seed or bin run
    fields.

some are speculating that the white
              heads are aster yellow.

              Perdue area crops.

Canola looks like hell, thin, short and
aster yellows might make 30 likely
closer to 20. Peas are starting to
affects of too much rain and have
started to rot from the bottom up and
have taken on some sort of nasty leaf
disease on the hill tops. Depending on
how they fill with said problems they
should go 30-40. Wheat looks good but
alot only filling 4 rows, looks like 40.
Lentils look good but still flowering,
low to mid 20's with upside to 30
depending on pod set over the next week.
