Problems in the Pulse Processing Industry.

Another pulse buyer is in financial trouble. The Canadian Grain Commission confirmed that Naber Seed is in bankruptcy. Anyone who is owned money should contact the CGC and file a claim.

This highlights the importance of due diligence to make sure the buyers you are dealing with are financially stable and able to meet their commitments. I always like the nice warm feeling of a cheque in hand at delivery/quick deposit.

If your buyers are not able to do this, you want to make sure you limit your exposure to this risk by not letting deliveries get significantly ahead of payments.

For anyone who may be impacted by the above, the following is the CGC web link.
