    Midge

    Any spraying for wheat midge?

    #2
Planes are filling with fungicide and Lorsban
here. now Bertha is showing up. In this kind of
year with prices where they are, we are in for a
real crop. Now that board is gone, there is
    something to protect.

Feels great to have Midge resistant wheat!
One less risk off the table. Good luck timing the application.

That would be midge tolerant not resistant.

Correct term, Larvae must start to feed before they are starved out by the high phenolic acids in the kernel.
Two years of great yields, with no insecticides.
