    Come visit

Hello everyone, regardless of your politics. If you're
sick of the rain, or the dry, or the bugs, disease and
markets, I invite you to come west to the 100 year
celebration of the Calgary Stampede. While there,
come visit us at the Grain Academy and check out
the largest working train display in the country as it
picks up grain in the country, passes through
Calgary, winds it's way through the Roger's Pass
and arrives in Vancouver to deliver for export. And
see an actual working model of a wooden elevator.
Heck, you can even grind your own flour! And
    much, much more.
Also, especially if you have youngsters, come visit
Agtivity in the City at the big white Agrium tent.
You can learn all about plant nutrition and even
    milk a cow.
Who knows, I might even meet some of you there.

    Cheers, Rockpile

seems there a lot of lazy irresponsable farmers to
take time off to go to the stampede

Not withstanding the fact that some of us accomplish some business at the Stampede and a few of us live close to that particular city, a well run business should be able to allow those working in and on that business time for recreation. If there isn't an opportunity to spend time away then I suggest you should have a good look at the management of your business. Who is working for whom. I prefer to have the business working for me, not the other way around.
