    winter wheat pricing?

just wondering what others might pull the pin at regarding winter wheat price. Currently, can price Nov @ 6.71 and Jan @ 6.75. (Spring wheat, Nov 8.11, Jan 8.14) I don't know what the avg price might be in those months over the last 10 years, but I would think it must be over the avg, maybe closer to the yearly high some years?

How close can/has winter wheat price come to spring wheat? 80% of spring wheat?, 85%, 90%, Has it ever been within 90% of spring wheat in a short market?

    boarder,

    WW is all about PX!

If you have 13px it should be worth within $.65/bu of spring wheat.

Thanks TOM, that's a great chart to follow comparing spring and winter wheats.

say hedgehog, how's the weather been over there? Are your crops still a little behind in maturity? How would you say they look overall, from last year? Are they avg, better or worse?

boarder, crops over here are behind by 10days because of cold wet weather.
thats why july wheat went up £8 today and £10 yesterday.
april---june in uk is wettest ever.
my crops are under severe waterlogging stress.
spraying head spray today on wide wheels.

barley is a lot poorer this yr everywhere due to wetness.
wheat looks ok but needs sun now or will be rubbish.
canola will be small seeded as too cold in flowering time, no sun to fill.

Thank you Tom, that is an excellent reference for
price discovery when marketing winter wheat. If
below 13 protein then call the feed/ethanol
companies. I am new at winter wheat production
                this is very helpful.
