    The One Earth discussion reminded me of something I heard @ seeding.
    How likely do you think it is that we can increase our rail capacity to the West coast?
    Analyst seemed to think we can ship oil to the coast as effectively by rail as with pipeline. As the Gateway could likely never get built without astronomical costs and delays.
    I chuckle when I think how the Chinese would have the Gateway built in 3 yrs from conception to completion.

    Alberta needs an outlet for the bitumen, one way or the other? It certainly doesn't help when we keep getting these pipeline spills, like the one in the Red Deer river, again and again?
    Pretty hard to convince BC we can ship very corrosive bitumen across 773 streams, when our own incompetent regulators can't protect our Alberta rivers?
