If they are using investors' money to bankroll this operation then they are technically operating with cash.

Landlords would get paid, the inputs would be paid for, etc.

With current prices and showing losses even with the too wet payments and agristability ( based on the neighbors averages because they don't have an average) IMHO they are in a shitload of trouble.

They have to convince more investors to give up some more cash ==== ponzi scheme.

Did our western government expand the agristability limit for you 99? Get f'n real when they want a loss they create a paper one for a payment plain and simple.

Hobby - If they follow regular calendar year ends (ex December) then no, AgriStability would not be in this first quarter loss. I do not know what year end they choose or am able to find a public financial statement but it would be interesting to see.

If there was a benefit, and personally I do not believe they would receive anything significant if at all, then that amount would have been recorded as revenue and accounts receivable on the December quarter.

Even if many of you do not believe you can calculate AgriStability benefits and future reference margins, the firm I use does it very well and extremely accurate.

I am quite certain that when looking at One Earth's admin that they would have the knowledge to calculate this as well.

Sask yes I understand accrual acc. This shit show
is losing money. Like all these supposed super
farms playing with investor money. Who cares
about ag stability If all hell breaks out the fed and
prov won't cover you. You can have a huge
margine, but if Canada starts to fail, guess what
your shit out of luck. Cash is king. These guys
are using our good margins to keep them going
just long enough to be sold again to another
          numbered company.

Why are we always so quick to point the finger and hope/cheer for someone else's demise or failure? What is stopping any of us from expanding or contracting or retiring or thinking outside the box? When we see something we don't like or don't understand we look for someone to blame. What would the tone be if One Earth (or any company/farm) turned massive profits?

Digger our point in all this is on paper everything
works in reality it doesn't. You can't farm in
canada the whole province from Toronto!

Here are some reasons why suits can't farm from Toronto or Regina for that matter.

                1. Service reps from dealership come to fix drill and forget to open the slides they closed on the drill. Farmer reseeds 80 acres, employee says its done.

                2. Employee forgets to close lid on drill, tells farmer there is something wrong with drill. Farmer reseeds 100 acres, employee says its done.

                3. Employee drives into slough fascinated with technology and big tires. Farmer pulls him out, wasting more time.

Etc. etc. Plenty of losses I caught this year but will a suit figure it out?

Also it's not Brazill where you might f@&$$up
seeding and still have time to redo.

                    Digger,
Farming without consequence when using someone's money makes One Earth's financial woes sweet for some. When a typical farmer has to agonize over every decision that may jepardize their life's work if not done correctly, having someone across the fenceline farm half assed be insulated from the ramifications of their actions due to unlimited funds would make any farmer rejoice in their public hardship!
