So June is turning its usual wet again,
We missed most major rains till last
night. Actually got some spraying done
this week and just about caught up. Peas
need a dose of reality but the rest is
caught up.
Drew earlier in year said get seeded
because when june hits it will be wet
again. Well rain rain rain rain rain.
will again create PS poor Grain.
Seed to Mud its a DUD!

I have a Durum field that is infested with wildoats and was desperate to spray, so I went out the other day and went mud bogging with the sprayer. I have never attempted to spray in conditions like that before but I felt the deed had to be done. After getting over my initial shock at the ruts I was leaving the process was kinda fun, I could get the sprayer to 4 wheel drift on the headland turns. It was entertaining for a while.

ColevilleH2O,,,,"The plane boss, The plane !!!", a plane would've made you money. Deep ruts are hellish and will take a great deal of time and work to remove from your field, let alone risk of damaging your equipment.
Even if the plane had to stay back from the headlands(because of neighouring crops), you would've only had to make a pass or two aroud the outside. Also take into account crop loss due to ruts and turns. Pipelines are a pain in the a$$, deep ruts aren't much different when you're direct seeding, except pipeline pay a little something.

put my money on someone developing short
season prairie rice. Huge- gigantic international
