Freewheat's garden is probably so water-logged he won't be able to plant them anyways. But the new herd might enjoy them for lunch. LOL

Coleville, that is a flock to you! And I
am pleased to hope that tomorrow I should
get out seeding again. Before the rain on
            Sunday. lol

Yes, this is a great gesture. My wife and
I are looking forward to our package
arriving. This is so cool. Very cool.
            Thanks again Parsley!

Various lily bulbs. I have 43 different varieties to
choose from. French sorrel, which is a wonderful
lemony-sour herb with large leaves, which I use
in Caesar salad and in sorrel soup and in Subs.
Also heritage flowers that are hardy and old and
great for bouquets. And a black current bush.
              Maybe a gooseberry bush. Lovage
Which is a tall hardy perennial that I use as a
vegetarian base for soups. Tastes like celery.
And so on. I'm enjoying a Friday night lime
marguerite so my recall escaped on a holiday

Pars, that sounds impressive. Do you have deer or other critters sampling your garden? Not a single Lilly of ours made it more that two inches out of the ground this spring because of my resident Mule deer herd.

Venison will be on the menu this fall.

Cole, Grate that bar of soap that is almost to
small to scrub your elbows with, around the
perimeter of your garden. Keep leftover soap
pieces in a jar. Sprinkle on fresh reminders after
a rain. We have a monumental deer problem.
And elk is worse. And moose. At least the cougar
didn't eat the bulbs. Also, go out and ' mark your
territory', write your name if your feel artistic,
where you think they sneak into your space. (Not
kidding!) They actually understand the meaning
of property rights' spaces. All right, now you know
                      I'm certifiable. LOL Pars.

Mom: Hi Cole, how's it going? What are you
                        doin'?

                        Cole: Oh, just pissin' around.
