Enviro can is at -3 and weather network at 2. I will split the diff at -1.5 . Depends on duration now and who's right.

Looks like we should above freezing to at least 4am. Time will tell.
Last year we started freezing at mid-night, and was still -5 at 7:30am.

Since the difference isn't -1.5, your crop won't be harmed.

-2c forecasted here. Canola in seedling to 2 leaf stage. Should be interesting. Very wet right now so should help some. Is 6c at 8:45

-2 predicted here too. RM 279
we had -3.5 3 years ago with canola at the same stage of cot. to 2 leaf and no re seedng was warranted but it thinned the low spots out bad in high trash areas, however in sayng that at harvest there was still a decent stand in the low spots but each plant was covering a huge area.in my opinion it ended up being no yield loss from it. so lets hope for the best!

All good here, -1 but temp at ground level was 4. Lucky for a change.

                Good Morning AV'ers,
5AM: Snow covering the ground. Cold. Furnace-
roaring weather. LIlacs will be in full bloom if the
sun shines on the weekend. Purple Martens are
sqwapping excitedly. Snow still clinging to the
vehicles. Youth transplants from the Greenhouse

rioting youth, have launched a homicidal class
                action against Parsley.
