100 years Old! Hope I have my aunts gene!

Today we are off to my aunts for her 100th
birthday. I know this isn't marketing but wow 100
    seasons on this planet.
    What she has witnessed.
She did live at home and garden right up till her
98 th birthday, now in the home.
All family who can attend are comming to visit.
Fun family day, hope I can make it to 100 some
    day!
She only farmed for a short time, crap that's the
    mystery, not genes.

It really amazing to think what they have witnessed in their lifetime.

From horses to tractors, running water, an electrical grid, automobiles, airlines.

Your aunt watched a railway be built and torn up in her lifetime.

Forgot about that. Her husband was a railway
man. He has been gone 30 years or more.

Congratulations to your aunt, well done.

I learned how to drive on a neighbors W4
International. Yesterday my son was heavy
harrowing with my neighbors 500 quadtrac. But is
            autosteer learning how to drive?

My own dad is 100 in October as well.Still married to his first wife and in a nursing home in Saskatoon. He farmed with me till he was about 88 and stiil is very aware of the seasons and always asks what field i am seeding to what grain etc.He has always looked at least 10 years younger than he was.I think it is in his genes and I don't think I have as many of the long life ones as he is blessed with.

Maybe your aunt never stressed out every time it rained, or didn't rain?
