Ok who liquidated in Canora kamsack area?

Ok just off the phone ordering some chickens and
it seems maybe a colony is moving north.
Maybe bought 17000 acres!

Never heard anything yet....17,000 acres......could be Hudye, thats about what they have up here. They farm north of Canora/Kamsack, and there are a few colonies in the Norquay area.

Paul Cherkas farms that amount but I doubt he sold out. Although at these prices who knows.

Well it wouldnt be Paul, because he rents 2/3 of
his acres or so. As for Ron, its hard to say. They
are farming over 25,000 acres now, not sure
what is owned. Sounds like they bought the
dealership in Dauphin, so who knows.

Not another Hutterite theory. You would think BTO
was spreading this rumor. I would agree that it
would be one of the mentioned big operations like
Hudye or Nykolations if it was but anyone else it
would have to be an assembled land sale and in this
part of the world it would be public knowledge on
the first day.
Where are the Hutterite colonies around Norquay.
Been in this general area for 35 years haven"t seen
any existing colonies except at Qulii Lake that
would be the closest. You may be confusing the
Hutterites with the Mennonites. There are many
Mennonite family farms in the area.
There are rumors of smaller land sales at 150 to
175K per quarter around canora but nothing
substantiated.

Folks, I'm looking to buy in the area referenced in this
chain and am looking for potential farming partners
that are interested in buying new farms to grow
existing family operations - ideally an aggressive
farming family with children ready to take on their own
farms. I would be a non operating investor and would
invest capital side-by-side with the farming partner. If
you happen to know of any folks in the black earth
area who may be interested in speaking, I'd appreciate
