    Sask crop insurance!

Ok who is adding the extra flood insurance. It
takes you from 70.00 to 100.00.
Cost is 1.16 more an acre. 11600 extra for 30000
extra coverage,oh wait take off 5% of the
coverage. So you loose5000. Coverage is really
    25,000 extra.

I am not in Crop insurance but by your calculation are you not missing a zero on the 30,000?

He is basing on 10,000 acres I believe.
Cost just over 10,000 for 300,000 extra in flood coverage.

And guessing that 5% of $30,000, or $300,000 didn't bother you? (loosely speaking, I'd say the fault is with the new math program!!!!!), or economists really are failed mathematicians.

Glad someone is "Checking". If I can't be smart, may as well be a smart-ass.

Yes you guys are right, Darn new math
                round down and round up.
Question is it worth the extra with all
the 5 % deductable etc. One rain from hell
and were back to square one!

Do you guys in Alberta still get to decide whether or not you want insurance after you are half or all done seeding? Bullshit for us to have to decide now! Should be April 30th for everyone.
