The chances of that are about as remote as him being hit by a meteorite. Seems like they like instability to be the norm in Agriculture so that they can go in and FIX the problem their way.

If you two think this is a direct result of the changes to the CWB perhaps you can enlighten us on how that is possible?

The rampant optimism in ag, world wide is seen as an investment opportunity for monster corporations. BUY up profitable businesses and diversify.
Unfortunately for us too much concentration will mean less competition.

Ok so I have been told not sure how many times. Sky will fall also. As far as I know Viterra is a publicly traded company and shareholders must approve a sale. Also the sale will have to pass competition rules and also prove to be good for Canada. I have countered in another post that us Viterra shareholders should opt for Glencore shares at 2 to one or walk. Perhaps you wish to be a victom and be happy, I am watching and if my proposal of 2 Glencore share are not entertained I will be pissed.

I want my shares to be transfered to Glencore shares as the only option.

Yeah, because there was never any amalgamation while the CWB had it's single desk control over farmers.
