    Snow Storm

Snowing from last night indeed blessing
much we need. Say over a foot new fresh
    snow here.
And my friend who is in eastern Alta got
magic snow from Santa Lol, and got
surprise good a foot snow and before
that it is barebone dry. Glad to see
good snow here to eastern alberta.
    Looking forward more snow coming
hopefully, like Revy always got snow and
it time bring snow here that great. How
    is southern alberta condition?

Great news for dry areas! Bigger crop coming, of course lower prices. Snowing hard now, wind forecast later.
We had a foot total before this storm, moisture was just right. Hope it does not keep snowing here all March.
2010 & 2011 floods very fresh in memory.

Judging by the soil moisture maps, almost all of western canada can take the equivalent of 1" of moisture or 1 foot of snow.

Spring runoff really isn't what makes a
crop though. Timely rains are required 2.
It is a comfort though ta see the climate,
sort of return ta normal. Wildfires are
          what worry us, in Spring.......

Geez had to check and make sure hell wasn't froze over. Burbies actually made some sense. No snow here as of this morning. Drought is not of any concern here at this time.

Last fall crop field seen not much
moisture and hard on cultiavator. I
think no frozen topsoil should be absorb
Spring run off. 1 inch of rain equal 12
ft of snow which didn't bad. I think
need couple foot of snow before topsoil
              become excellent moisture.

May have to put the snow plow on yet...
Our yard is protected to the east so snow
                  just falls and stays put.
