The province of Quebec has publicly stated that it will consider the establishment of a provincial long gun registry. Alberta Premier Alison Redford also stated recently that she doesn't oppose the transference of existing national data to provincial registries.

I would not give a hoot about what quebec does with their money, but as the huge net benefiecary of federal transfer payments you think otherwise. Why Redford would even comment on the matter is even more troubling.

What else needs to be said, in order to come to the conclusion, that the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta has been usurped. Allison is going to put the "progressive" into Progressive Conservative.
Can the Wild Rose win a majority, or will too many people just tick the PC box again?

Just what we need...our information of gun ownership on a Quebec database. What is wrong with this "Little Red Hen" that she wants to give this info to another jurisdiction for some "snoops" to peruse. The information on long-gun registry is supposed to be destroyed...that is the deal. I would expect NOTHING else.
If she persists on this baloney then yes, I too will vote "against" the PC party (which I was going to do anyway) and she can cool her heels in the backwash from her actions.
