Looking for a used protein tester!

Anyone have a lead or know of a used protein
tester. Seems would work with our operation
under the new system. Protein is king.
Found a new foss system but 16000. Older
elevator one AG Canada had for 565. Missed that
    one.

SF3 How accurate do you want? Trust me the old ones were not perfect and I would venture a guess that the best you could hope to be is within 1% accuracy of the newer versions. Remember you can take your samples to the CGC or SGS maybe pay them a couple hundred bucks a year and have protiens on all your bin samples. Your argument will go much further with the buyer if you say you had tests done at one of those places vs the machine you have in your shop on the farm. Just my 2 bits.

Thanks guys, If I can find one from a
elevator or Govt site or surplus sale.
Ill buy. I need something when I take
the grain home to the yard. So I can
          segregate the higher Protein wheat
different than before. Also canceled the
order for 4 50000 bushel bins looking at
          smaller bins now.
I think protein will be the money maker
and grade down to a 3 wont mean shit
          all.
          Mallee Ill contact overseas.
          Thanks

Sask, Protein won't mean as much in a years time but falling number will mean something.

Bto were keeping the bagger love it updating
                    some old bins probably 10 , 10000s.
On falling number importance I'm going with
protein being important, falling number then
                    grade.
