    An excellent conference again.

General Rick Hillier was my highlight. Newfie humor in
    a truly great leader.

I agree Charlie. Probably the best presentation I
have ever heard. Funny and articulate with a
great message. Was also great to see a lot of
people I hadn't seen for years.

Most comments suggest that Northlands has
proven to be a great new venue. Much more
room and good meeting rooms. Warm weather
helped with the bus shuttle service and
worked very well. Probably a surprise that
things went so well when moving into
something new for the first time. Event
organizers deserve a lot of credit.

Cut off the fat and make this country lean again? I am all for it. I wonder what the media spin will be on this. Deep cuts to unnecessary arts programs, with the maintenance of bridges, military, etc..

          A free country? Excellent!!!

Harper should STAY HOME for a change and run his own country instead of "chastising" European countries about how they are handling their economy.

A priority to sell our oil reserves to the Chinese so that they can improve their economy instead of processing and using them to stimulate the North American economy...terrible shortsighted planning.

Old Age Pensions with ever increasing age requirements for qualification...absolutely baloney. Pretty soon the aged will get their pensions just before they die...the man is bonkers.

I wonder what other countries think of this crap coming from Harper. Until he streamlines his own administration, he shouldn't preach to the world.

It wasn't Harper that shut down the pipeline to the south, it was Obama.

If they don't want the pipeline jobs, Obama can answer for that in the next election.

But I do agree, Canada should be doing more refining. Unfortunately, the tree huggers would shut that down as well.

Wilagro, wasn't that always a criticism of the CWB? Opponents wanted more processing here. Which side of the debate are you on? Or do you just disagree because it is Harper?
