    DEF in new tractors

Does anybody have any experience with def fluid in new tractors and do you know of a discussion site where I might find out more about it. Is it here to stay or will it be phased out right away.

Our new swathers are coming with it and my
      New Diesel truck uses it.
Reality trip to calgary 127 all way with
new one then two days later back at same
speed with old one and guess what not a
lot dif yet I used 1/4 tank DF fluid for
      trip their and back.
So in reality not much dif just extra
      cost. IMHO!

The DEF pays for itself, because of the increased efficiency of the engine. You will find that the SCR engines are better on fuel than the EGR engines.

But John Deere is better anyway. The more fuel it uses the better the product.
