      Burbert,

Perhaps you should have hired an new marketer that can tell time!

"ICE Canola Contracts Climb, Spec Fund Buying Supportive

By Dwayne Klassen, Commodity News Service Canada Inc

Winnipeg - December 28/11 - Canola contracts on the ICE
Futures Canada platform were trading at higher price levels at
midday Wednesday. Strength was associated with fresh
speculative fund buying, linked in part to end-of-year
      positioning, market watchers said.
Additional support in canola was associated with the need
to play catch up to the rally experienced by CBOT soybeans and
soyoil on Tuesday when the ICE Canada Exchange was closed for
      a holiday, traders said.
Strength in canola also reflected the hot and dry growing
conditions for the soybean crops in Brazil and Argentina,
      brokers said.
The buying back of previously sold positions by a variety
of market participants helped to influence some of the upward
price action, traders said. Some chart-related demand was also
generating some of the price strength.
Steady domestic crusher demand and the pricing of old
export business further underpinned canola values, brokers
said. The downswing in the value of the Canadian dollar
      Wednesday was also supportive.
Profit-taking at the highs of the day restricted some of
the price gains in canola as did the weakness displayed by
      CBOT soybean futures, traders said.
There were an estimated 9,352 canola contracts traded at
10:26 CST. Of the contracts traded, 5,064 were spread related."

Last I checked Jan Canola was $530/t at 12:15pm... up over $9/t.

      Wheat is up as well.

Did you find a time portal and get lost Burbert?

Klassen, looks like a very mean man in his
posted pic. The kind that nobody trusts!
Probably once spent a weeks Summer
vacation on his Unc's fram in
Saskatcheween, hence knows all about fram
        markets. Whats his background? Economics
        or Gag?

Oh, my mistake, guess its simply the fact
that our grain companies are closed, hence
n/a posted as current price on site.......
Must be the Christmas, New Year doldroms
          that wes experiencin!
