Make a toast during Christmas. I explained what
Skoal is to cott and I'll share it with you:

"Skoal" is a Scandanavian toast, similar to the
customary "Cheers" or "Here's to mud in your
eye" but regularly the ritual is defined by a glass
filled with aqvavit Raised by the hand to shoulder
level, eyes eyeing eyes, the drink is downed in
one swallow.

Aqvavit is a caraway liqueur, foul and death-
proof instead of say, 80-proof. It leaves both
toastees stunned and silent, and with both ears
ringing, and eyes watering, arch enemies submit
to respectful standoff.

I'd go on, there is about 7 or 8 more dishes to go, but I better go jog for a bit in preperation for all that stuff in the next few days, gaining weight just thinking about it, but it's definately worth it!

But years ago we used to be able to buy these chocolate covered snowballs. They were white inside, thin coating of chocolate, and rolled in coconut. They were my fav Christmas candy. Sadly they don't seem around anymore. Insulin manufacturers are feeling the loss as much as I.
