    Parliamentary Throne Speech Today

The pomp and ceremony associated with the
opening of Parliament serves as our social genes
with our past; the rule of law and parliamentary
system well and alive in the freshest brand of
    elected hatchlings.

One woman RCMP, flanking the Lieutenant
General as he was giving his address, keeled
over and had to be escorted out by strong arms.

Attended only two of rhe receptions aferwards
b/c of time. Good food. Had to especially
congratulate our MLA as he is the new speaker.
Spoke with Many MLAs and several Cabinet
Ministers. German consulate. Cattle folks. Grain
    folks.

We're fortunate to live in a country where we
don't have to shoot each other to determine who
    will govern. Pars.

Do you mean "Legislature" throne speech
Parsley? I visited your legislature building in
Regina last year, just as a tourist from Alberta
    though.

      Yes it is Saskatchewan legislature.

I guess I was musing on the parliamentary
system of Govt and it's origins following the rule
of law and was not precise enough for the
sophisticate of political junkies. I did specify
lieutenant gov and not government general, did
not capitalize parliament, but nonetheless was
      sloppy. Sorry, lad. Pars.

Was out of country crop-duster. Should have
asked Min of Ag Bjornrud yesterday, about the
Ottawa event, but we didn't get around to c-18.

Even had a good visit with Linda Haverstock.
She was once Liberal leader and also Lt Gov in
Sask and now heads Tourism. Not many Liberals
or NDP there. Had an interesting visit with
German consulate guy. I skipped out early. Pars

Pretty hard to shoot each other when the government
              wont let us own guns.

The great thing about the 2nd amendment is that it
isn't needed until they try to take it away.

Sorry about the slip, mc. The hand did what the
heart thought. Full apologies especially since
Alberta is now the heart of environmentalism
and public land ownership. I need sensitivity
                  training. Lol. Pars.
