Any advice on what US $ will do compared to
Canadian $ in next 2 months?

We hope to be going back to Ukraine in Feb to
adopt children and need to take about $30000
US funds. should have exchanged $$ 3 to 4
months ago.

We keep a us funds bank account. Can deposit
us cheques in it from grain exports. Interest
bearing.

As well, able to convert $Can to $US when
exchange is favorable and plunk it into this

Actually great point pars. We also use a USA account and last summer when we gained on US dollar plopped money in for winter. Or what ever else we needed. Should have done more or did the real-estate transaction in Phoenix before, Now not as confident at a new purchase.

As a parent who was very fortunate to
receive an child recently for adoption I
wish to dispel the myth that there are
lots of children in Canada up for
adoption. Reality is that healthy
children have a waiting list a mile
long. There are many special needs
children that do need homes but they do
take special resources to parent.
Besides we have a big empty country in
Western Canada and need more children in
order to prevent it from becoming more
empty so I applaud what JAG is doing.
We recently had a healthy baby boy place
d in our home through foster care. We
are very grateful because the odds of
this are less than winning the 6/49 so I
take exception to your comments BTO.
