    can someone clarify

Just read Agriweekand I'm confused. It said that the lawsuit is being brought forward by the 8 directors on the board and not by the Canadian Wheat Board. If that is the case I do not see how the directors can use CWB money to support what would be classed as a personel lawsuit. This would be conflict of interest and the use of company funds for personal use.

The Govt can straight repeal the act but not
tinker with the act without consulting

But the gov can 100% repeal the act tommorow.
Legally. Best to do it. Saves grief.

I'm not a lawyer, but its the CWB and BOD, not them personally. Correct?

The issue with repealing the Act is the fact we are 3 months into a crop year with 9 months remaining. My understanding is amendments are meant to transitition the current CWB into the new world. If you read the legislation, there are two distinct periods outlined - before and after August 1.

              Can't ammend w/o consult.
              BUt
              Can repeal w/o consult

Govt. has to first repeal to bring in new act they
              can live with.
