    Farmer Freedom Day

What price targets have you got in mind for next August for wheat and barley and what celebrations do you have planned.
Wheat #1 12 protein $8.50/bus in my pocket.
Barley Malt $6.50/bus in my pocket.
Barley Feed $5.50/bus in my pocket.

I am planning a great party Prime Rib garlic mashed potatoes and cold beverages of every kind.

Well if your right I/F, there will be lots of auctions around here.
Nice to see the optimisim with the higher targets, but reality would be in the middle between the two. Canola will hover inbetween $11 and $12.5.

if the world has a good crop, lookout
as the US bans private shipments
            from Canada.
            and imposes import licenses
            quota shipments direct to
end users . thru designated suppliers
            (grain co.s) . only

just like when mad cow hit and the packers were the only ones allowed to
            ship beef south.
CDN. farmers hold wht.stocks as futures and basis are poor. sell canola ,peas for cash flow
            1 hrsw 5.25-6.50
            feed wheat4.00
            fd bly 2.75-3.00
            malt 5.00-5.50
cdn. cattle feeders make record profits for a year

if somewhere their is a major failure
            then same as this year

who knows i guess we will find out

Feed barley prices will need to rise to encourage more planted acres in 2012, but do not expect a significant increase in planted acreage as the grain will still need to complete with oilseed markets.
