    Oberg

""We cannot in good conscience give up this fight. The government's approach is illegal. It's against the wishes of farmers and it's harmful to the economic interests of Canada," CWB chairman Allen Oberg told a press conference in Winnipeg on Monday."
For those of you who don't speak socialist let me translate: "Waa waa waa whine whine whine I'm entitled, I'm entitled, gimme gimme gimme waa waa waa."

"We cannot in good conscience give up this fight<i> our conscience has no problem locking up farmers who disagree with our totalitarian power over them"</i>. The government's approach is illegal<i> how dare they govern as though they were elected....., okay, they were elected, but democracy is only fair if the government elected agrees with our point of view</i>. It's against the wishes of farmers <i>the ones we sent ballots to</i> and it's harmful to the economic interests of Canada <i> ...well its harmful to the nice little untouchable empire we've got going here</i>"

And don't forget harmful to Director Fees and per diems.

How many Oberg days before Marketing Freedom day? Multiply that by about $1000 and you know what his fading, but final reward will be. Unless of course, the Directors give themselves a big severance award.

Oberg is a spoiled brat. Acts like one and talks like one.

The rest of the 8 moronic directors spent time in Ottawa chasing liberals like Goodale around.

They should have been talking to the government not the third place party.

Sure would love to see the books opened up!

"... harmful to the economic interests of Canada". Too bad they have never worried about the economic interests of the farmers held captive under the regime (except for a select few of course!)

            Good point silver.

Flaman was against the cwb until he joined them. No one changes their philosophy that quick without a lack of ethics! ie Big paycheque to change his mind.

"We cannot in good conscience give up this fight". "The government approach is illegal".
When Jeff Nielsen explained or re veiled to us,during the cwb town hall meetings that, "our internal counsel has advised us that the government has the authority to do such" how can this be illegal.
"Against the farmers wishes",well I can tell you for a fact, it's not against this farmers wishes.
It's unbelievable that these 8 directors can squander, waste and have so little regard for the farmers pool account monies and no one is saying or doing any thing about it. Thank god there are 2 common sense directors showing alot of common sense.
I would consider the actions of this 8 directors reckless and unscrupulous. But,that aside, ol tipsy is sure enjoying the side show. If this issue was not so serious it would be funny. Sometime in the future this whole debacle will make a great read.

You are one of the babies so get ready for the
landing Burbert. Your gravy train has left the
station. Now farmers, especially durum growers
will see the fruits of their labour. What do you
tjink about the durum prices at crosby? Phone
any elevator company down there. Where is the
                  board's price? What a joke!
