What are we going to do about the FPC?

Ok. Enough is enough. We need to get on the phone and figure out how they can justify this. MINUS $62 basis today. The FPC went down $3 a tonne even though the futures were up 14 cents and 5-7 cents on later contracts. The contract is inverted due to companies wanting immediate delivery and where is the board? hy are they not selling on the decenber contract like crazy instead of widening out the basis? We need to get answers. I plan on phoning tommorrow, I hope everyone gets on the phone.

They want to show us that the pool is the
best option by screwing around with and
semblance of a cash price. Phone calls
won't do anything they haven't listened
to us for uhm... ever I guess.

The CWB is screwed. (they just won't
    admit it)

I won't sell into the pool. I think they will blow every dollar we have to make a political point against the Conservatives. There will be no final payment. If the fixed price or EPO doesn't get in line with reality I will store my wheat until next year or if the opportunity arises, sell into the feed market. Such a waste to feed #1 wheat.

Honestly, I don't know why anyone that hates the cwb even wants to give them grain. If they can't fill the boats they will have to come up with something to attract grain.

Feed wheat was .10 under a FPC for CPS at
my bin with 1% dockage. Moved most of my
wheat in September without waiting in
line or a permit book. What I have left
can wait for 2012 (or not depending on
feed prices, it definitely isn't going
through the board PPO or Pool)

Sold wheat to hog barn for 6.50. I saw on local elevator board 6.80 something pro for 1cw hrs 13.5 protien. Ive very seldom seen the pro get to where its at, so i think feed prices will be just as good this winter.

                Dear VVALK,

The CWB managers/Oberg; remove all doubt why the end of the 'single desk' is required ASAP.

Like the purchase of the ships... these people just don't get it.

As with the condemnation of the Alliance milling facility.
