This could have been a transition program option for everyone else

The OFSC is easy to use.

The farmer phones the CWB (1-800-275-4292) with shipment information and proof of organic certification.
The CWB informs the farmer of the applicable rate and invoices the farmer.
The farmer pays immediately by wire transfer, credit card, or certified cheque.
Once payment is received, the CWB issues the farmer or exporter an export licence.
Allow 48 hours for completion of OFSC transactions and receipt of the export licence.
    2011-12 OFSC rates (per tonne)

    Asia Europe US Canada

    Wheat $5.35 $4.43 $6.70 $6.70
    Durum $3.90 $7.61 $7.61
    Des Barley $3.93 $3.49 $9.92 $9.92

Obviously, Stewie has been taking care of his interests on the board.

I don't understand why I would or should have to pay someone money to sell my own grain to a buyer of my choosing.

tipsy: If you have a problem understanding why you have to protect the "pool price"...phone PM Harper, he'll explain it to you.

Wilagro, I know you're trying to run down the
conservatives, but what is your point? Why
would the PM defend the lower price offered to
us out of the pool? He's the one trying to free us
            from that system?

Wilagro, your so called protection of the pool is
gone, adios, a riba dachi, see you later.

Willy, I don't need to phone Mr.Harper and Mr.Ritz. I'm confident that in the very near future, I will NOT have to pay some bullying organization money to buy back my own wheat just so I can sell to buyer of my choosing.
It's just that timing is 60 years late in coming!
