Correction Tom, Alberta's first woman Liberal Premier. The province will now have a clear choice between Redford and Smith.

      Malta,

Alison is a true 'Progressive' but too proud to admit this. Last night she said the Conservative word... very pointedly.

Now is the time to get rid of ALL of those who supported Gary Mar including our own MLA Lloyd Snelgrove. Remember this at the local nomination meetings before the next election. The PC party in Alberta needs a good shake-up...out with the Old Boys Club and in with some new blood.

Ms. Redford has made a lot of spending promises? Education, healthcare, AISH, arts and culture......all worthy causes I'm sure, but where will the money come from?
Governments don't make money....they take it from you and me! More spending=more taxes?
With the world going into a global recession demand for our commodities will fall, unemployment will increase and the tax base will shrink? So where will all the extra money come from for this increased spending?
Allison Redford has her work cut out for her!

                    RE: policy

Pretty well a "boiler plate" set of policy objectives which could be adopted by any political party or candidate.

                    No meat...just 'potaters'.
