    Pasmo in Flax

Anyone use Headline on their flax crop this year? Second year in a row the harvested sample will be light weight and look like shit. I was stupid enough to use last years seed(that looked crappy and light) for this years production and you can guess the results of that without an appication of fungicide. I don't think I will be able to grow flax without a fungicide application in the future unless it gets droughted out. Articles I have read claim it is seed and residue borne and that some varities are more susceptible than others.

Hopefully others can learn from this post if I am too stupid to not heed the dangers of knowingly using infected seed and not apply the fungicide. I am sure the cost of the fungicide would have easily been recovered if the crop was treated. (Also, Headline cost is reduced with use of certain other BASF products)

Why not post this in crops? If no one does, then no one goes there. Chicken and egg scenario.

Don't mean to single you out but there are a lot of crops or machinery posts in the marketing one that would increase traffic in those groups.

Point well taken wd9 but there is little traffic there, but posting everything else here doesn't help that matter!!!

It is a tough one. I've been trying to post more things there. Hope others will too.
