But did you feel any of them are the leader the Alberta PC's need at this time? Last time was quite involved and interested this time no one has even remotely captured my interest.

You should become a politician. same old story
everyday. Never really say anything. Your credentials
        are at the highest level.

The Alberta leader is crucial b/c the future of oil is at stake.

A green leaning premier will destroy oil and promote wind turbines and solar as does Obamantion who wants to destroy oil. Canada cannot afford to dump oil.

If you have oil/gas leases or oil wells or look to more Sask municipal roads built with oil money, maybe it's time to hone your Alta election awareness and keeness. A call of support helps.

Alberta oil industry is key. Pars

Interesting race. Two liberals from Calgary and Eddy II from Barrhead. PC's must be dissappointed with the turnout. None of the above won. I had quit the party a couple of years ago but had bought a membership to vote for the leader. In the end I didn't bother making the 20 mile drive to vote.

as far as I'm concerned the three remaining candidates are good news for the Wild Rose party - two red tories and a status quo guy

I would agree the PC party looks like there won't
be much room for actual conservatives. Hopefully
Alberta doesn't do what Saskatchewan did for a
long time and split the center right and elect the
leftys over and over.I suppose it will probably
mean more growth for the oil industry in
Saskatchewan which is ironic because up until a
couple of Years ago NDPers always scolded me
for thinking we could have economic growth like
                Alberta.

I went to University with Doug Horner. Just
thought you would like to know.
