    Friday report!

Funny talked to frieNd near grand forks.
Canceled propane going to chop late corn. Why
you ask? Simply froze so bad its done. Soy well
let's just say the stuff by us is toast and theirs
    looks just about same.
Frost was hard in eastern sask, thistles were
    dead the next evening.
Notes SE sask was 80 percent done harvest well
if you had 100 quarters to seed and got oh 5 in
guess what your virtually done hm some one at
sask AG and food is a genius. Av sask harvest at
    60 percent. Ha.
Here is my thinking, elevators I talk to seem to be
hinting that their are lots of shitty canola yields
coming off, no big bin buster except a few areas,
    very. Few.
With frost and rookie canola growers harvesting
canola at high temps, watch next week after the
    sudden cooling.

Canola yield over all three prov will be average.
    Ergot problem with wheat.
Very little if any winter wheat seeded in our area.
CWB won with their bs plebiscite. Yea my three
    dead uncles voted for them.
Finally it's a fun fall stuck only once should have
known, will get to 50 percent tomorrow nite.

in our part of the Peace we are just getting going on peas, poor yields so far due to drowning, better yet to come. Some winter wheat off as well as early seeded spring wheat and canola. Not a lot of barley acres around but some have come off.

We are way behind normal as we would usually be done peas and ww and well into spring crops. Still swathing late canola. WW drill following combines in peas.

We have been blessed with some good weather lately and have steered clear of damaging frost as of now. Rain stopped the combines tonight and according to Drew we may not get rolling again till mid next week.

Canola yielding 40 to 45 here, my best ever canola crop. Funny thing is canola is yielding almost as good as the soft wheat.

half section cwrs to go. No ergot in wheat thank god. Will be done except 100 acres of tough stuff here and there that will have to wait for a few days to get it cleaned up.

Best #1 66 lb CWRS ever, saw 66 bu/acre in a field, 55 average on seeded acres, 10% drowned out.
Goodeve but still see midge damage.
What are others seeing for midge damage?
Hearing of poor yields on unsprayed here.
Over half done in the area.

just finishing peas doing a little over 70. Barley and wheat swathed, wouldn't dry standing, our humidity seems to want to stay over 75.

I know I bragged about spraying midge late before but maybe got burned this year. But soft wheat still weighing 64 pounds so that is good, dry as ****ing fart, like 11 percent
