I will give him credit for the fact he listened to farmers, ran on a platform and now is going to follow through on his promise. Rare characteristics in a politician. At the end of the day thats all I look for is someone to do what they promise.

He was an ostrich farmer, and now plans on setting up a Dual market system without the CWB's help.

If he thinks a dual market will work maybe he should take up Unicorn ranching.

The CWB is more than welcome to help set up the dual market. But so far all they are doing is sitting in the corner and pouting because suddenly they have to grow up and become adults.

Minister Ritz is taking the shackles off of western
farmers. This should have been done many
years ago, but no government up until now had
the guts or decency to do what's right.

As far as the CWB goes, they'll now be unable to
source grain no matter the price anymore. Bad
for them, good for the rest of us.
