No idea whether ProFarmer US numbers will prove accurate. Just note that 12.5 bln bu and 148 bu/acre are well under USDA (august 11) 12.9 bln bu and 153 bu/acre. Takes a tight US corn S & D to whole new levels.

Will note todays close and the December CBT corn futures chart.

Perhaps a highlight there is more going on than just the CWB debate. For those who are lucky enough to have crop (hopefully Mother Nature makes it high quality), I think farmers can look forward to this years crop with some enthusiasm.

I know I am beating up on this thing but corn is now at carry old crop versus new.

November soybeans blew through $14/bu today as well.

      Beanoil more subdued.

Maybe got in a hurry today when I sold new-crop corn?

          Bullish.

Broker suggested a hedge yesterday because
beans were at the top of the channel. Glad I
          ignored him.
