    Friday Crop Report!

    OK its Friday and here we go what has happened this week in your area.
    10 = 60 Bushel
    5 = 30
    0= piss poor crop not happy.
    For "Oats Barley Durum use plus 10"
    OK its been a hot hot hot windy week with storm last Monday that took out a chunk of crop from Cupar to Dysart to North of Lipton to Foam lake.
    Damage from min to area by lipton that's 15 miles long x 4 with 100% gone.
    Sprinkle of Rain on last Friday night but that's it could use one more shot to fill nice then bring on the heat.
    HRS 8 pushing a 9 Big Heads 18 spikes at highest with 6 to 8 rows.
    Durum 9, WHY didn't I get more seeded why because it was mud. Late needs three weeks yet.
    Barley 10 plus best barley crop ever Big heads.
    Oats is a 10 but its not my best by any measure, seeded later and heat got some of the tillers.
    Peas a 6 moving up but not nice to walk through. peas don't like mud and where their was mud and 5 inches Farm progress show made sure those areas drowned out are gone they never came back rest is high and podding well.
    Flax is nice but late some still flowering.
    Canola early is a 9
    Middle seeded is a 5
    Late seeded is a 8 but just shutting down. Lots of yellow fields from Valley to Yorkton and North. Some just full bloom.
    So off to Calgary will get to see some Bin Busters at Swift and Beyond. Have a great Weekend.

      Mb the hail in our area was a 100% knock out. Sticks in canola and Looks like you mowed the HRS and Durum fields.
      Did you get most seeded this spring.

                  Humboldt is quite variable in my opinion. A lot of weeds starting to show up in places, also heat or moisture stress as the plants were not deep rooted. I am not sure what to rate anymore. Garden awesome though.
